July
Our 4th of July this year was spent at the Beach Club that we've come to LOVE this Summer. Pools, water slide, beach, lazy river, what more could you ask for??? Oh, well on 4th of July they also had bounce houses, water games, and live music.
The girls were beside themselves - running from this to that and just getting worn out. By the time it got dark, we were ready for fireworks...laying back on the lawn chairs watching the fireworks get set off from the beach below us. Joey slept through the whole thing (under his nursing cover) while the girls covered their ears as they watched the show.

And before you know it, July is halfway over and then it's time for Ava's birthday. This year she turns SIX YEARS OLD. Yikes. We had a small cake time with family and then took Ava to Seaworld with just Mommy and Daddy. She wanted us all to herself for the day. And she soaked it up. We held her when she wanted to be held. We got her special treats that she didn't have to share with her brother or sister. We took her on rides. We went out to dinner and made a big deal about singing Happy Birthday. We made it all about her - and all three of us enjoyed it.

Guess what happens to six-year-old girls? They start losing their teeth! Ava's first tooth came out as she was eating a cracker. After days of pushing it back and forth and showing us how loose it was, it still surprised us when it actually came out. So exciting!!!
She didn't have a gap for long because the new tooth had already started growing in behind the baby tooth. Can't wait to see her lose the top two. ;)
