I don't know what happened this month...I must have been so engrossed with getting Ava ready to start first grade, that I forgot to take pictures of anything else we did.
The crayon wreath that we made to take to her new teacher. We did it in Kindergarten and I just can't stop. It's the perfect Back to School gift for elementary teachers. (And let's face it, I'll probably make one for myself when I go back to the classroom)

The first day of school came so fast...
Getting into the car. She's a big girl now. Doesn't need Mommy and Daddy to walk her into school. So, she's off with Dad to get dropped off. (sniff sniff)
I am so proud of how my little shy girl has become so brave and confident - it's like she owns the school already.

While big sister is back at school, little sister misses her. Lia and I have been trying to do some of our own projects while Ava is gone. We started our alphabet bible verses:
