I don't know what happened this month...I must have been so engrossed with getting Ava ready to start first grade, that I forgot to take pictures of anything else we did. The crayon wreath that we made to take to her new teacher. We did it in Kindergarten and I just can't stop. It's the perfect Back to School gift for elementary teachers. (And let's face it, I'll probably make one for myself when I go back to the classroom) Open house to meet her new teacher! Here's Ava's seat. New teacher, Mrs. Kales. Showing little sister the playground. The first day of school came so fast... Getting into the car. She's a big girl now. Doesn't need Mommy and Daddy to walk her into school. So, she's off with Dad to get dropped off. (sniff sniff) I am so proud of how my little shy girl has become so brave and confident - it's like she owns the school already. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
