December is here!

This first weekend in December we got a little visit from some out-of-state cousins (and aunt and uncle). After a vacation to Disney World, they stopped by Gramma's house to recouperate before their trip back home.
And Nana even came over for a short visit too! Ava and Lia were so excited to see Nana..

Our house is decorated for Christmas! I still need to get pictures of the trees, outside lights, and other fun decor. Just had to snap this picture when Johnny stopped by the other night in a santa hat.

Last weekend, Ava's runny nose and congestion took a turn for the worse and she ended up with a fever ALL day Saturday. She spent the entire day laying on the couch, drinking juice, in and out of sleep. I kept forcing tiny bites of cracker, fruit, rice cakes, ANYTHING into her.





Thankfully she was feeling better the next day. Better enough to ask to vacuum the couches. I promise I did not make her do this...



She still hasn't made it to school yet this week. We even went to the doctor yesterday just to find out "she just needs some extra TLC..."

So extra TLC is what we are giving her... including special cookie-baking time!







And boy do they taste good. Even the ones that are COVERED in sprinkles. Thank you Mimi for the cookie-press!!! We love it!!
