Happy Birthday Lia

All about my adorable little 2-year-old Lia.

She wakes up in the mornings happy as a clam. Sometimes she cuddles with us and sometimes she's ready to start playing with Ava right away. She doesn't like getting dressed...but loves wearing other people's shoes (Ava's, Mommy's, Daddy's, etc.). She has a great appetite. One of her favorites lately is cereal with milk and when the cereal is gone she drinks the milk from the bowl. She entertains herself while Ava is at school in the mornings. She loves playing pretend, and loves loves loves playing with babies. Putting them down for naps, pushing them in their stroller, carrying them around. She sings the A,B,C's and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She loves pat-a-cake and other songs with motions. She's putting words together for tiny little phrases like more please (mo' peez), Daddy car (da-da cah), baby night-night (baby ni-ni). She naps like an angel. Goes down so sweetly and loves her rest. She plays with Ava every afternoon and especially likes to snatch whatever toy Ava is playing with. She scrunches her nose and smiles and makes funny faces. She screams VERY loudly when she gets excited. She's in a good mood about 95% of every day. She's our comic relief. She's the most laid-back person in our family. She's my favorite little 2-year-old.





Her birthday this year was the day after Thanksgiving. So we kept it small and intimate with just us around the house. We gave her some presents throughout the day.













And we had to let her blow out a candle and eat her birthday cupcake.
