School Pictures

So last week was Ava's "Fall" picture day.  I had no idea that they would let me put Lia in the pictures too (since Lia is not a student at the school).  When we got to school that morning, she saw all these other kids in her class waiting with their siblings to take pictures together.  And these mom's had it together.  Their kids were coordinated.  They were wearing nice "Fall" outfits.  And I felt like such a slacker.  Ava insisted on having Lia take a picture with her, even though their outfits clashed.  So we waited around for about an hour and finally it was their turn.  Every time we said "smile!" Ava flashed the best smile she could muster.  Lia on the other hand, looked like she was in pain.  The girl just hasn't learned how to smile on cue.  It was hilarious.  She reminded me of Chandler from Friends who couldn't smile for the engagement pictures that Monica made him take.
