bumps and bruises

Something about the second child...why is it that they get more bumps and bruises than the first?
Little Lia and I were unpacking our Fall decorations last Thursday (yes on the first day of Fall) and during a quick break to wash our hands she took a tumble and hit her head on the tile. I was RIGHT next to her, but one quick slip of the foot and down she went. I called the doctor to ask what to look for after a fall on the head. Thankfully she never vomitted, acted unbalanced, or passed out - which are the signs that something might be wrong. After some cuddling, and frozen peas to the forehead she was up and acting like her normal self. With a little bruise on her forehead.

Fall - definitely my favorite time of the year





And although it's not as bad here, the bruise has gotten a bit darker. :(


Soccer season is in full swing. And so is Ava...





I love the Anthony is right there in the game.





Yes, she's the littlest one on the field, but she's also the cutest!
