Long Overdue

Holy Cow! It's been a long time since I've posted anything. So long in fact that I actually forgot my password to sign in to Blogger.

I wish I had a million pictures to post to document what we've been doing for the past month. To be honest, I'm really still struggling to find a good work/family balance. Working from home is nice in the fact that I get to make my own hours, but its tough in the fact that I am the one making the hours. I'm the one responsible for saying that I cannot be with my girls. I sometimes wish someone would tell me which 40 hours to work, so that I could blame it on them when I'm sad to leave my girls. Not to be a downer...because I really am thankful to have this full time job. And I know its good for our family. And I know that both Ava and Lia are in the best hands possible. Soo...here's what we've been up to.

Lia is such a cute, independent, sometimes stubborn, little toddler. One of her more favorite terms lately is "mine!". She's still eating like a champ, sleeping like a baby, making us laugh with her funny faces and expressions, learning new words every day, and playing with anything she can find.

Ava is becoming quite a well-rounded school girl. I am officially a soccer mom. And I drive a minivan to prove it. Last Saturday was her first soccer game. Yesterday was her first pre-ballet/tap II class.









Is it me or is she the best one in the class?! ;) My little purple ballerina. Can't wait for this year's recital.











I leave tomorrow for a three day conference for work. Oh, how I'll miss my little cuties. I am going to make it a conscious effort to get more pictures of Lia. She's just so hard to catch...
