Wear her out and send her home
Yesterday was the end of Ava's first week of school. She goes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings. I put all three days together instead of scattering them throughout the week. It's kind of like her own little "week" of school. Thursdays we go to dance and then Friday is fun day!
Anyways, Wednseday afternoon we were playing in the playroom and Ava found her special Color Wonder markers and tablet. (By the way, this is the best invention ever. Markers that do not color on anything except for the special Color Wonder paper. Having a 3 year old that has colored with crayon on walls and furniture, I am in no position to put a marker in her hand. So these special markers are fantastic. They satisfy her desire to color with markers and I feel fine letting her use them without confining her to a strapped in chair.) SO, she was coloring while Lia and I continued to play. Anthony eventually came home, so Lia and I went out to greet him. A little while later we realized that Ava was still in the playroom, and quiet too, so we peeked in on her and this is what we found.
School has really worn her out - enough to fall asleep with marker in hand.
