5 is a big deal... a really big deal

Anthony and I told ourselves we weren't going to be throwing anymore big birthday parties. But when Ava told me she wanted a bounce house for her birthday, I just couldn't say no. I mean, 5 is a big deal. She just got a new baby brother. She's about to start kindergarten. She deserves it. So I started planning her princess-bounce house-waterslide birthday party.

We had a birthday dinner on her actual birthday with her favorite dinner, then cookies and ice cream for dessert.





Her party day arrived and the excitement was too omuch to take. Ava and Lia watched as her bounce-house/waterslide was delivered and set up. It was HUGE. Ava and her friends played on this thing for 3 hours, breaking only to get a quick bite to eat and sing happy birthday.
