She's sitting!

She's 8 months and Lia is finally sitting up all by herself! For the past two months, we've been really working on getting Lia to sit up. One of the first milestones and I am already guilty of comparing her to Ava. Ava was sitting up well at 6 months, so it got me nervous that Lia wasn't. Maybe it is because she was born early. Maybe I wasn't giving her enough practice. Maybe it's just because she's her own person. For whatever reason, it really doesn't matter. She's sitting up now and loving it! Of course we're still always nearby to help after she tumbles over. And I know in another month or two there will be no stopping her with sitting up, crawling, climbing, etc.
