Surprise!

Today was very special.

My Gramma (the girls call her Nana) has just finished her radiation treatment. Diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of last year, she has been so brave and strong through the whole process. Endless doctor visits, surgery, daily radiation treatments, and through it all she stayed positive. Whether it's mending clothes, planting our tomato plants, sharing recipes, shopping, or cooking, she continues to take care of us. I am so thankful to have her in my life. What an example for both me and my daughters.

As a celebration to the end of her treatment, we surprised her with balloons, hugs, cards and dinner. After our grilled chicken, sweet potatoes, and roasted veggies, we all went to Anthony's softball game. In the last inning he hit a homerun - just for Gramma.

We love you!

Both girls are fast asleep. So glad Amanda was there to help with Ava.
