Rainy day at the Museum
Today Mimi came along with the girls and I to one of our local museums, where they have a entire wing made up of hands-on children's exhibits.
Like a laser harp...

Fun gears...

Air-pressure experiments..
A pulley-system where you could lift yourself up--although Mimi did most of the lifting.

An art station
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride

And a pizza place - where kids can take orders, make pizzas, put them in the "oven" and even ring up orders on the register.

Then we went into the planetarium to watch a laser show and learn about some constellations. With the lights dimmed and leaning back in the chairs, Lia fell asleep in no time. She spent the rest of the time sleeping in the stroller.

Look at the size of this dollhouse - it was AMAZING.

One last play on the laser harp. I think we might have to consider lessons...
A perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon. Thank you Mimi for coming with us!
