I'm lovin' it...
Monday morning Ava woke up with an avid determination that she would NOT be attending school that day. I tried everything, "you'll get to play outside", "your teacher's want to see you", "you get to make your kite today", "Daddy packed a special treat in your lunchbox", etc. Nothing I said would change her mind. Until I mentioned the golden arches. And I followed through. Lia and I picked her up from school, ran by Gramma's office so that she could come along for the ride, and then we drove to McDonald's.

I remember going to McDonald's when I was a kid. I was (let's face it, I still am) addicted to those fresh, hot, golden, french fries. I buy some for us to share and end up eating the entire container almost all by myself....
And to wash it down with a big slurp of soda (or lemonade in Ava's case) from a wide McDonald's straw is like the icing on the cake.
Of course it wouldn't be complete if we didn't get a chance to play on the slides of the indoor play area.
We were lovin' it.
