I'm so glad it's Christmas...

Our Christmas was exactly how I've always pictured it to be for my family. It was a relaxed couple of days where we enjoyed sharing time with our girls, eating good food, and visiting with family.
Christmas Eve we went over to my brother's house. Ava loved playing with her cousin Simon. We had a delicious dinner of lasagna, pasta, salad, stromboli, and oh the desserts. Anthony and I made stromboli for the first time and it was a hit!
The girls promptly fell asleep as we drove home. On Christmas morning, they woke up at around 6:45am. So I got up, made the breakfast biscuit-egg-bacon bake, and got the girls psyched to open presents. When daddy finally walked out of the bedroom, this is what he saw:

Yay - his new golf bag!

The girls were wearing their matching pajamas and really had a blast opening all of the presents. After a last minute run to CVS (the only store open on a rainy Christmas morning) for batteries, Ava jumped right into learning how to play her new video game Zippity.

Later in the afternoon we went over to Mimi's house for another yummy dinner. We ate, laughed, and spent time with Mimi, Mike, Uncle John, Aunt Judy, and cousin Johnny.
