Luli's Cupcakes

Last weekend Ava and I drove to St. Augustine for our friend Paloma's 4th birthday party at Luli's Cupcakes. Ava gets so excited about going to birthday parties. She loves picking out gifts to give her friends. She loves wrapping the gifts. She loves getting dressed. She loves eating cake (or cupcakes). She loves talking about it afterwards.

All dressed with her sparkly shoes and princess barrette, and she fell asleep on the way there. I had to wake her up when we got there, which means the first 30 minutes was spent with her on my lap warming up to everyone.

And then they brought out the cupcakes. Every girl (and mommy) got a delicious cupcake and we were able to frost and decorate our own cupcakes. This is such a perfect idea for little girls.

Look at all that frosting on Ava's cupcake...it actually fell over because the frosting was so thick (but oh so delicious).
