Cookies, Baby, and Golf

This week has been surprisingly busy for us. Gramma, my mom, was away on vacation with her sisters. Mimi was able to help out a little extra, but she also left on Friday for a little trip up to NY. It really makes us realize how much the girls' Gramma and Mimi are a part of their lives. Luckily Nana was here to help some. Last Saturday, she invited Ava over to her house to help make cookies. Although, I'm not sure how much "helping" Ava actually did. She probably created more work, but it's worth it to build those memories. :)
Our week was filled with the normal chores: cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc. Friday though, was a funfilled day. I took Ava to the farmer's market in the morning. When we came home, Lia and I got ready to drive to St. Augustine to go meet Karma and new baby Mackenzie! While Lia and I were in St. Aug, Anthony took Ava golfing for the first time.
Mackenzie was a perfect little baby. I was so happy to see her in person - already 5 weeks old. She slept, ate, pooped, slept - everything those newborn babies do. Karma and Joe are fanstastic parents already.
Meanwhile, Ava was a perfect angel for Daddy on the golf course. He said that she loved riding in the cart, and she kept saying how beautiful the course was. What a little nature lover. She even hit the ball a few times.

she kept asking to wash her hands - guess she didn't like them being messy for too long

Lia and I played in the living room while the bakers made the cookies

by the pool - Mackenzie seemed to enjoy the shady, breezy afternoon
