Monday

Monday - the first day of Colin's stay. We are hosting Colin while his mom and dad celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary on a cruise this week. After spending the weekend with Gramma, Colin came over late Sunday night - after the girls were both asleep. The next morning, when he woke up, he walked out in the living room and when Ava saw him she ran over to him and gave him a HUGE hug. She was so excited to see him. We had a lazy morning, but then packed a lunch and went over to Gramma's office to see her. After that we stopped at the store. I have to admit I was getting some interesting looks as I walked through the store with THREE children. Colin was so helpful everywhere we went. When we got home, Lia fell asleep so I took the two big kids in the back yard - with swim suits and sunblock - and let them play in the sprinklers. It was SOO hot that they only lasted an hour, even with cold popsicles to cool them off. So we came in, watched a movie and ate popcorn.
I made meat loaf and mashed potatoes. Colin was such a good sport - ate his food and then had some yummy ice cream afterwards. After dinner we had to juggle three baths and getting teeth brushed and putting on pajamas. Anthony and Colin played a couple of Wii games as Ava and Lia both fell asleep.
